LEGO Belville Sunshine Home, 450 Pieces, 7586 Feature
My first motivation in purchasing this set was to get the female minifig it comes with. She is one of the more unique pieces with her face having strands of loose hair. The other two minifigs are nice as well, you have a man with a beard and a younger fan with a team shirt on. I’m very pleased to see a baseplate with this set as lego, of late, has been avoiding base plates. The grandstand is structurally sound with a scoreboard on top. The set comes with punch out cardboard scores, making this a great complement to your other soccer sets. This is my first set in this theme, you can use it for other themes as well — it can be a grandstand for lego racecars, castle jousts, and even quidditch matches. As the set is pictured on Amazon you can see a white overhang, the set actually comes with stickers to cover the overhangs but I didn’t attach them, one is of the lego soccer logo and the other (for what reason, I don’t know) says “lego technic.” Building time was a little less than 5 minutes as the set uses large, simple pieces. I keep on thinking that the price of this set is a little too high but then again one shouldn’t be comparing prices today to what they were 10 years ago. This set is getting harder to find, so pick it up today!

LEGO Soccer Fans Grandstand (3403) Feature
Have two boys, and both love the Bionicle Line by Lego. They got all the movies that came out, and they play with these toys all the time. Everytime a new line comes up I buy the whole set. So far it never failed me. Tons of fun with pretend play. And very educational (with the first set I ended up building them, but now they just do it themselves). I hav an 8 y/o and 11 y/o.

The Mission: Build, Play, Imagine
Every time Dr. Inferno appears, the Agents are immediately called into action. In this action-packed LEGO set, Dr. Inferno’s henchman Magma Commander has unleashed his Magma Drones on the City. The Agents’ mission is to use their top-secret helicopter to destroy Magma Commander’s satellite broadcaster and wipe out his robots.
The Agents Aerial Defense Unit provides a dynamic narrative setting to inspire imaginative play. In addition to the 17-inch helicopter, this set includes a satellite dish station, getaway vehicle, and plenty of Agent gadgets. The Aerial Defense Unit also comes complete with six mini figures: Agent Chase, Agent Charge, Agent Swift, Magma Commander, and three Magma Drones.
Also, there are plenty of additional features to keep the set interesting. Just when it seems like the Agents are doomed, you can engineer their escape from the evil drones –they can zoom down the zip line with their special backpacks, jump into the secret getaway vehicle, flee through Magma Commander’s hidden door, or set the helicopter’s propellers in motion for the ultimate escape.
Building the Aerial Defense Unit
With 733 pieces and a colorful instruction booklet, the Aerial Defense Unit took our two adult testers approximately three hours to construct. The process was challenging but not too difficult, with colorful step-by-step illustrations showing the way.
Overall, this set scores an excellent rating for its clever design elements. Favorite features are the helicopter’s twin propeller blades that turn automatically with a push of a button, the chopper’s spinning wheels, the escape winch, the movable helicopter doors, the getaway vehicle that drops out of the back of the helicopter, and the gadget-laden command center. And the detailed cast of characters made it really enjoyable helping the Agents crew outmaneuver their elusive enemies — with binoculars, radios, guns, and more.
Also, our testers enjoyed the way the narrative of this set allowed them to create their own top-secret missions. They also appreciated that the storyline is simple enough to make the set fun whether or not your child is familiar with the Agents 2.0 series.

I bought the Snowboard Boarder Cross Chase for my 10-year old on his birthday last week and he just loves it! He plays with it every day — he had great fun building it and has had an amazing time playing with it. He has quite a lego collection and this has to be one of his all-time favorites. An excellent lego and highly recommended!!

I’ve read the reviews of this toy and felt strongly enough to post my own. It is unrealistic to compare a lego style build project to the durability of a tonka truck. My sons and I have done many builds of both Mega Bloks and Legos. The ship is a remarkable value. It is comparable in value to the more expensive toy ships Black Pearl and Empress, of Pirates of the Carribean fame. It is a simpler build, easily completed, and very sound. The main peices snap together and do not come apart. The main mast can wiggle loose, but a little Shoe Goo helped that. Having to glue parts on build design toys is common.
My boys, ages 11, 7 and 5, love the ship. They have many others, but this one takes their fancy. It has the special ‘wow’ factor. And unlike the more expensive boats, this one actually rolls across the floor on small wheels.
Mega Bloks has achieved an amazing accomplishment with its Pyrates and Dragons lines of toys. The Scathe is in keeping with that tradition.
It’s a wonderful value in today’s world of hot air, and I’m darned glad my sons have one.
